 ADDING MONEY - BANK FREEDOM |
Before using your Bank Freedom Prepaid MasterCard account you must add money to your card account through one of the five convenient options below. You cannot use your Prepaid Card until you have added money to your Prepaid Card account.
Your BEST OPTION to add money to your Prepaid Card account is setting up a Direct Deposit of your paycheck or Federal Benefits check to your card account. Direct Deposit will save you up to $25-$50 dollars a month in check cashing fees, cash loading fees, and monthly maintenance fees. If you have more than one job and receive multiple paychecks or Federal Benefits checks, have all your checks or a portion of your checks Directly Deposited to your Bank Freedom Card account.
Each month you have a Direct Deposit, Bank To Card Transfer, or Cash Loads to your Prepaid Card account of of at least $500 a month, Bank Freedom will waive the $5.00 monthly account maintenance fee!

Have your employer deposit all or a portion of your paycheck directly to your Bank Freedom Prepaid MasterCard Card account. When your Bank Freedom Card arrives in the mail just sign and date the Direct Deposit form and give it to your employer's payroll administrator and your next paycheck will be automatically deposited to your Bank Freedom Card account. Set up Direct Deposit for your Social Security or other Federal Benefits checks by calling GoDirect at 1-800-333-1795 or CLICK HERE to visit their website to set up your Direct Deposit online. You will need your Card Account Routing Number and Card Account Number. To have your Card Account Routing Number and Account Number automatically generated, CLICK HERE to fill out the Direct Deposit form online.
The following Federal Benefits check types can be Directly Deposited to your Card Account through GoDirect: Social Security (SS), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Railroad Retirement (RRB), Civil Service (OPM) Retirement, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and any other government issued benefits check. |
